Warm and Conversion-Focused Squarespace Website for a Toronto Realtor
A VIP day redesign for a returning client — from template to fully custom
Jenelle Tremblett is a Toronto realtor helping buyers, sellers, renters, and landlords navigate one of Canada's most competitive real estate markets. She first came to us back in 2022, when she purchased our Squarespace template Lora, and built her own website with it — and did a genuinely great job. She added testimonials, accordion FAQs, lead magnets for different audiences, and made the template her own.
Three years later, Jenelle came back for the custom work.
The redesign happened during a VIP day — our website-in-a-day service — which meant one focused session to take everything Jenelle had built, strip it back, and rebuild it with a more polished, cohesive, and conversion-oriented result.
Palette and Visual Identity
The new site has a classy beige and black-and-white palette. Warm walnut browns give the brand a rich, distinctive look that feels polished and professional. It's the kind of palette that works hard in real estate — it is trustworthy and serious, but warm enough to feel approachable to someone about to make the biggest financial decision of their life.
Jenelle's photography is front and center throughout the site, and it does exactly what personal brand photography should do in this field: it builds trust before a single word is read. The split layouts, large portrait sections, and full-bleed hero images all serve this goal, making sure visitors feel like they already know her a little by the time they consider reaching out.
Structure and Audience Segmentation
One of the smartest things about this website is how clearly it speaks to each of Jenelle's four audiences. The navigation splits immediately into Buyers, Renters, Sellers, and Landlords. Each targeted audience has its own dedicated page, its own hero headline, and its own step-by-step "How It Works" process tailored to that specific journey.
This kind of audience segmentation is particularly effective in real estate, where a first-time buyer and a landlord looking for a tenant have completely different fears, questions, and decision-making timelines. Each page meets its visitor exactly where they are, rather than making them dig through generic content to find what's relevant to them.
Every service page follows the same clear structure: a reassuring hero, a numbered process breakdown, a Behind the Scenes section featuring TikTok videos, social proof from past clients, and a Book a Call CTA at the bottom. The consistency across pages makes the site feel cohesive while giving each audience their own dedicated space.
The About Page
The About page deserves a specific mention because it goes beyond the standard bio format. Alongside Jenelle's professional background and market expertise, it includes a set of personal details: favourite Toronto restaurants, travel highlights, hobbies, all presented in a clean editorial format with category labels. It's a small touch that makes a significant difference, giving potential clients a fuller picture of who Jenelle is as a person, not just as an agent.
Her favourite Toronto neighbourhoods are also called out in a warm brown section at the bottom of the page. This lovely local detail signals genuine familiarity with the city she works in.
The Outcome
What started as a solid template built in 2022 is now a fully custom website that reflects where Jenelle's brand is today: polished, personal, and built to convert. The VIP day format was the right fit for this project — focused enough to move fast, thorough enough to get it right.
