Soft and Luxe Squarespace Website for a French Bulldog Breeder
A template-based custom website for Frenchie Soup
The website for Frenchie Soup is our short and sweet custom project that took seven days to implement. This is our third custom website for French bulldog breeders (for some reason, they love to hire us). Check out our previous work:
The warm peachy-pink and cream palette of the Frenchie Soup website evokes comfort, care, and a boutique feel. We wanted to add golden accents, but as we strived for the softer and luxurious tones, we made the color paler. To further convey the sense of elegance and warmth, we styled the website with pearls, cozy textures, and soft fabrics that add personality without clutter.
Our client LeaAnn wanted to evoke a French café style and a kitchen theme in the design – together we added images of cutting boards, rolling pins, flour, and teacups.
The design weaves in the founder's personal story and values. To build emotional trust with visitors, we used candid photos, heartfelt copy, and friendly typography.
We did our best to implement an effortless user journey. The homepage contains a carousel to showcase puppies. It is a horizontal image slider that allows visitors to preview pupies in a dynamic, mobile-friendly way, encouraging exploration and engagement.
We also concentrated our efforts on trust-building, adding sections and information on breeder ethics, health testing, and one-on-one support, visually reinforcing this with photos of the breeder and the pups.
