Bold Squarespace Website for a Women's Business Consultancy
Goodish Media
Antoinette is the founder of Goodish Media, a consultancy and media brand built around a single, sharp idea: good businesses are built by good-ish women. She coaches and consults with women-led businesses, creates content, runs a weekly newsletter called The Stories, and offers fractional CMO services. She built her website using our Squarespace Template Lora, and customized it into a brand that feels as direct and unapologetic as the mission behind it.
The Lora template ships with a striking three-color palette – warm cream, near-black, and a bold chartreuse yellow – built for a fashion-forward creative agency. Goodish Media keeps that palette almost exactly intact, swapping the chartreuse for a slightly warmer golden amber that feels a touch more approachable without losing any of the contrast. The black sections, cream backgrounds, and high-contrast button treatments all carried over from the template.
Where Lora uses editorial fashion photography, Goodish Media uses vintage typewriters, women at desks, leopard print, and black-and-white magazine imagery. Same color energy, completely different world.
The split layout – text on one side, image or contrasting color on the other — is one of Lora's defining design principles, and Goodish Media uses it consistently throughout the site. It works especially well on the homepage, where the two-column black-and-gold section introduces both sides of the brand simultaneously: The Stories on the black side, The Agency on the golden side. Two offerings, one glance, no scrolling required.
The homepage opens with four words: "for women done being good." It's a positioning statement, a manifesto, and a filter all at once – visitors who recognize themselves in that line are exactly who the site is built for. The writing throughout the site is confident, specific, and never vague – a natural fit for the Lora template's own bold, lowercase typographic voice.
The Agency page breaks down three distinct offerings – Coaching & Consulting, Fractional CMO, and Individual Projects – each with its own dedicated section on the services page. The Individual Projects section splits further into Creative (editorial development, brand messaging, photo shoot direction) and Marketing (brand strategy, integrated campaigns, social media, event production), presented in a two-column card layout that maps cleanly to the Lora template's packages and pricing section structure.
Goodish Media is a strong example of how the Lora template performs when a client's brand voice is strong enough to fill it. The palette stays close, the split layout runs throughout, and the lowercase typographic tone carries over – what Antoinette brings is a point of view sharp enough to make the template feel like it was built specifically for her.
