Calmwork is a UK-based web design studio founded by Clare. Clare is a Squarespace designer who helps service-based businesses across the UK and beyond to stand out online with beautiful, professional websites. She mostly works in the niche of Squarespace websites for therapists.
As a Squarespace designer who loves the product she works with, Clare created her own website with Squarespace too. She went with our premium Squarespace template Lora, and made stunning customization.
In Lora we have two options for the homepage design, and while most of our clients go with the first option, Clare went with the second one. She has created a soft beautiful collage for her first screen and achieved a stunning homepage look.
Clare saved the drastic contrast of the palette of the original template but went with all-neutral colors. In some way her color palette reminds us of a neutral capsule wardrobe – she uses black, white, ivory, cream, camel, beige. The beauty of neutrals is that they all pair together to create a classy, timeless look.
Clare uses many gorgeous portraits of herself both in the office and outside. Photographs are professionally color-corrected in the same style.
The original font pair suits the mood of her business.
Clare skillfully customizes all the layouts offered in the template: collages, split sections, cta cards, portfolio mosaics.
