Welcoming and Approachable Squarespace Website for Therapists
Designing a safe space online for clients seeking clarity and support
Aspyre Therapy is our recent client from the UK for whom we actually built two websites: the main one, Aspyre Therapy, and a mini-website, Aspyre Hypnotherapy. The websites mostly have the same design and branding, being different only structure-wise and having slight variations in color palettes.
The main goal of the project was to establish Aspyre Therapy as a trusted, approachable, and forward-thinking mental health service. A strong online presence was needed to grow from a solo therapy practice into a recognizable mental health brand.
Both Aspyre websites share a clean and modern aesthetic. They have a light and calm color palette with soft blues on the main site and an aquamarine green on the hypnotherapy website. The neutral colors reflect peace and balance, while generous white space makes the design breathable and uncluttered.
The typography pairing is very contemporary, with an elegant serif for warmth and a clean sans serif for readability. An additional handwritten signature font adds a personal touch.
The photos of the therapists on both websites create trust and help build a personal connection. A mix of professional headshots and well-curated lifestyle imagery strikes the right balance and does not create a visual overload.
Both homepages have clear, inviting hero sections with direct messaging. About pages and sections are written in a personal, narrative style to build a connection with potential clients.
It was important for us to build a design that aligns with the therapy brand – calm, supportive, and non-intimidating.
The website makes it easy for clients to book therapy sessions – the pricing is transparent and easy to find, packages are presented clearly, and the CTA buttons are constantly repeated throughout. Acuity Scheduling integration automates the booking process, making it easier for clients to schedule sessions, pay online, and receive reminders.
