Sharp Squarespace Website for a Real Estate Media Company
Plot Media
Plot Media is a real estate media company serving the San Francisco Bay Area, offering photography, video, aerial drone content, 3D virtual tours, floor plans, and property websites for agents, brokers, and homeowners. They built their website using our Squarespace Template Robins, and the result is a clean, confident online presence that looks and feels exactly like the kind of company you'd trust with a high-value listing.
The Robins template ships with a professional dark-navy-and-white foundation, and Plot Media leaned fully into it – keeping the deep navy as the dominant backdrop as well as a vivid electric blue for headings, service card titles, and CTA accents. The result has real visual energy: dark enough to feel premium, bright enough to feel modern. It's a palette that would look at home on a tech startup or a creative agency, which is precisely the impression a real estate media company wants to make.
The pricing page pushes the color story furthest, with gradient-topped pricing cards in deep blue-to-purple that add a bold, almost SaaS-like quality to what could have been a standard services table.
The homepage opens with a full-screen background video – aerial and interior real estate footage that immediately demonstrates what Plot Media actually does, before a visitor reads a single word. The headline "Modern Visuals for Real Estate" appears over it in large white serif type, clean and direct.
The Robins template's hero section has a background placeholder video, too, prompting users to fill it with video content to make a strong opening statement.
The six-card services grid on the homepage – Photo, Video, Aerial, 3D Tours, Floor Plans, Marketing Content – maps closely to one of Robins' signature layout patterns: compact, bordered cards with a title, short description, and an arrow link. The cards are clean, the copy is tight, and the arrow links feel intentionally minimal – consistent with a brand that believes the work speaks for itself.
The Gallery page is where Plot Media's actual output gets to shine, and the layout gives it room to do so. Each service type gets its own section – Property Listing Video, Virtual Video, Floor Plan, 3D Virtual Tour, Property Website, Listing Photos – with a brief description on the left and the deliverable on the right. The listing photos grid at the bottom fills the page with crisp, bright interiors that make the case for the service better than any copy could.
It's an approach that echoes how Robins handles portfolio and case study pages – content-first, with the design stepping back to let the work lead.
The About page introduces the three-person team in a simple grid of black-and-white headshots – a tonal choice that feels deliberate. Against the navy site palette, monochrome photography reads as editorial and polished rather than merely cost-saving. It gives the team section a visual consistency that color photos of different quality and lighting would struggle to achieve.
Plot Media's website is a strong example of how the Robins template performs for a creative services company in the visual industry.
