Charming Squarespace Website for a Writer

When she started her freelance gig she felt the need for a website, that will represent her services on the Internet. For her website, she chose to go with Squarespace and our Premium template Hustle&Heart.
Hustle&Heart is a very feminine, magazine-inspired template. It works well for writers and content creators both design-wise and structure-wise, as it has all the necessary pages like services, portfolio, about.
The website opens up with a beautiful portrait of Stephanie in a collage image layout. With the help of our tutorials, she modified a background image that is split into two horizontal parts. The upper part is a textured still life with apricots, the lower part is a beige background that seamlessly connects with the next website section.
Stephanie filled in her portfolio with cases of her work.
She has also moved her previous blog entries to her new website. Her blog describes her personal life, it is not work-related. The intimacy of the blog helps her connect with her target audience on a deeper level.
Most of the photos are color-corrected in the same style and have a slightly nostalgic mood about them.
We also like how forest-green color was introduced to the original color palette to achieve a bolder look of some of the backgrounds and the footer.
