The Cellar Door NYC is a consignment shop in Rockaway, NY, owned and operated by Jenny Magniccari. The business was born out of her love of consignment and thrift shopping. The Cellar Door NYC is proud to be part of the sustainable fashion movement, reducing the environmental impact of clothing production.
There may be occasional dates for shopping in the store, but generally, all items are sold online. That is why Jenny needed a website with an e-commerce focus for her business. The website opens up with a gallery hero section, which Jenny easily populated with her images. The photos of clothes, footwear, and bags work great there.
She has also easily customized backgrounds and other images with script text, by changing the copy in them.
And the website’s favicon is an image of a bag. Jenny’s attention to detail makes her website consistent!
Since the template didin’t need much customization, the main thing for Jenny was to populate her shop with items of all sorts. She has also categorized them by size, type, etc to facilitate the shopping experience for her customers.
