Amy Sharony is the founder of home/school/life and the author of The Ultimate Homeschool Calendar, The A+ Homeschool Planner, The Homeschool Recharge Workbook, and The Happier Homeschool Day Book. She launched home/school/life in 2014, a couple of years after she started homeschooling her then-in-2nd-grade daughter, and became fascinated with all the places where home, school, and life intersect.
When she needed a refurbishment of the website of her online academy, she bought the Social Motion Squarespace template from our shop.
The website has a neat and organized layout, making it easy to navigate and find the resources you are looking for. The header menu provides quick access to other sections such as online classes, secular homeschool resources, books, curriculum, podcast, magazine, academy, and more.
The website's homepage greets visitors with an inviting collage and a warm message.
Amy kept the design cool and casual: many funky elements like text highlights, notes in script font, and doodles remind of a school notebook.
The color palette has a few pastel shades like lavender and retro pink with dark turquoise text.
Amy worked a lot on the sales page included in the template. She carefully filled in all the sections with her content. She has also included testimonials from homeschool parents, indicating positive experiences and satisfaction with the resources and classes.
